True to her outspoken and opinionated nature, she expresses that opinion loudly. Max overhears her and a verbal sparring ensues. And things only get more complicated from there. As Drew and Max try to fight their growing attraction for one another, Tiffani is convinced she’s in love with Max. Drew has problems of her own, as she starts receiving threatening notes and creepy visits from her ex-boyfriend. Can Max and Drew overcome their differences and all the obstacles thrown in their way to get to “happily-ever-after”?
Ellen Fisher writes with a passion and great deal of indisputable talent that imbues each sentence with simmering sensuality. The characterization is superb, as both Drew and Max are very well developed in their own right. They each have baggage from previous relationships that they need to deal with before they can make a commitment. They’re also very different, and it’s refreshing to see them try to resolve those differences.
The premise of “opposites attract” is an old one, yet Mrs. Fisher gives her story a level of depth and emotional tension that other writers rarely achieve. Fans of contemporary romance will be thrilled with this beautifully told tale, and fans of romantic suspense will find a lot to like here as well. The suspense thread is quite strong, and developed in such a way as to keep the reader guessing until the very end.
A remarkable story of overcoming differences to find true love, ALL I EVER WANTED should not be missed.

ANGEL IN MOONLIGHT is a wonderful erotic tale loosely connected to the Talisman Bay series (LOVER’S TALISMAN, which is excellent.) but can stand alone. The tortured mind and body of Ben calls out to Lita and she is helpless to fight it. Why would she when everything within her tells her he is her soul mate. They have to defy the rule to love, but it is worth it. Love is worth the price.
The sex scenes are extremely hot in this short story, a part of the EC 12 Days of Christmas series. There is a particular scene involving garland that will stay with me for a long while to come. Readers will want their significant other to take them under the Christmas tree after reading that scene!
For a magical Christmas tale, try ANGEL IN MOONLIGHT. It is a great way to celebrate the season.

August Heat is the conclusion to the August series by Lora Leigh. In this quickie we get a behind-the-scenes look at what happened after the cameras stopped rolling. The story picks up at the birth of Cade and Marly’s child. It explores the changes the characters have gone thru in the last year and how the love, acceptance and passion of their chosen mates have healed the emotional damage these wonderfully sexy dominate men sustained as young men.
Frankly the conclusion of this story was a surprise to me, but a delightful one. I enjoyed having my preconceived notions of how the story should end shattered and taken in a totally different direction. And as always with a Lora Leigh book, the intimate scenes between the characters were hotter than a volcano. Whew, had to turn the AC down after finishing this story.

This Reviewer found this book engaging and fun to read. The characters have a life of their own and a fullness that is captivating. Ms. Foxxe has written a book that makes you want to jump and shout for them to have a great ending to their attraction. But the ending leaves you stumped and asking, what will happen? Hopefully, Ms. Foxxe will continue with more of Vance and Ivy’s story. This reviewer gives this book a Three Flame rating for a cozy book to curl up with and share with a friend.

The problems Aidan and Penelope must overcome are tremendous. While there are plenty of evil creatures to deal with, the worst problem is forgetting the rules of society they have been taught. The sex they share is always steamy and intense.
The story is filled with interesting secondary characters. I hope Gabriel, Niccolo and Charlie find love in future stories. It would also be nice to find out more about Monia and Vaclav. This is a good book for vampire lovers or anyone who enjoys a beautiful story of love and passion.

Lisa Marie Rice created a remarkable story about true love never failing. A woman who has had her share of bad guys has found the right one. At least she thought so with a man like Alessandro. Talk about a man after a woman’s heart. Alessandro was not only sexy but also virile, and to Nicole, she was ecstatic about this fact. Alessandro was the type of man who never forgets a woman, especially one who has gotten through his skin. Nicole was an angel in disguise who got through his cold exterior and into his heart. Ms. Rice steamed up the pages between these two and the follies of Nicole’s plan to forget about Alessandro. Alas, the heart never forgets true love and Ms. Rice beautifully outshines in this story. The only disappointment was that it was too short. This reviewer would have loved to read more about their love, and hmm, their fantastic nights. Looking forward to reading more of Lisa Marie Rice’s books, considering this one was hot!

Denise A. Agnew’s, The Dare, is highly recommended from this reviewer to every reader who has either read or not read her books. From the beginning, Isabella Markham starts of as a rich snob who is need of a vacation turning into a woman who has embarked on an adventure worth talking about considering it involves Detective Luca Angello. This man oozes with sexual prowess, sexiness, and the urge to protect his loved ones. In the beginning these two are at each other’s throats but the more they get at each other the steamier the scenes are in this book. Ms. Agnew captures your attention from the beginning to the end just wanting the story to continue and never end. This reviewer laughed because of Luca’s tactic that it is just sex and not anything more, to admiration for Bella’s persistence in not needing Luca but in reality needing him more than she thought she did. All together, this is a story worth reading and keeping as a favorite author and a story that just gets exciting until the end. Way to go Ms. Agnew and I can’t wait for her next novel, seeing as how talented this writer is by reading this book.

She then has to fight for her life because the warrior in very strong and knows how to fight well with a Claymore. Then the battle is over and the young women in taken captive by the Dragon Laird, the Laird of the clan McGregor. She is taken to the stronghold of the McGregor’s and held for ransom. The Laird does not know she is a young woman and tells her she must help him in his bath. Rhiannon has never seen so many muscles and his has many battle scars that she feels does not distract from the beauty of his form. The Laird tells her she must wash him and her hand trembles as she begins to get closer to his skin. Rhiannon wonders is he the one the darkness to her light that Dela the old women that lives in the wood has told her about the one to help her fulfill the prophecy?
This book was a magical and enchanting tale of how love can conquer all. Ms. Lynn must have lived in the times of castles and knights for the plot are very well written as if she the author lived there at the time. The characters have a life that leaps off the pages and enfolds you in their lives and the battles are stupendous, they have you holding your breath as you wait to see if the hero will conquer the evil sorcerer. Then claim Rhiannon for his own and live happily ever after. Ms. Lynn has written a magical tale that will make you want to share it with a friend as well as keep this treasure to read again and again. This Reviewer was so captivated by this book it gets a five flame rating for one tale that will last in the reader’s memory.

When they arrive at the dragon’s lair, Rowena expects the dragon to kill her at any moment. Instead, he begins a thorough “inspection” of his tribute. Despite her fear, Rowena enjoys the feel of the dragon’s forked tongue caressing her body. He pauses briefly, but intently, to inspect her amulet.
The dragon, Viridiseffulgentissimus, has been searching for a mate for many years. Mates are scarce because of the dwindling number of dragons. Virid believes that Rowena’s amulet could mean his long search has finally come to an end. A drop of Virid’s blood may be the key to finding out.
DRAGON’S TRIBUTE is a great read that shows how trust and honesty are essential to a relationship. Both Virid and Rowena are strong, stubborn and loving characters. The sex in this book is varied in many different ways—all of them exciting and original. The entire book is wonderful but the last twenty pages really had me on the edge of my seat. This is a good choice for readers who love fairy tales with a spicy kick.

Harm’s Way is a sensual tale that brings two very different people together. Elgin and Harm are explosive characters who love to be in control. Harm is an Alpha male who lives by his motto of “if you’re in harm’s way, you do it Harm’s Way”. Elgin doesn’t appreciate Harm’s high-handed way but still feels herself drawn to him. Harm’s Way was slower paced than I really thought it would be. I found that there was a lot of dialogue and information that seemed to take away from the story in general which had my mind wandering away from the story at times. Elgin and Harm made up for it though, they are two intriguing characters whose constant snappy and quick dialogue and butting heads kept the book entertaining.
I need to give Ms. Stewart high credit. It is frightening to think how obtainable our personal information, the sites we visit and the invasion of our privacy are to hackers and other undesirable people just through our computers. Ms. Stewart pens a frightening, but very accurate depiction of how it really can happen. Makes the reader really consider who knows what we are doing the moment we are reading her book, doesn’t it?

The story wasn’t too far-fetched and the boudoir scenes were hot! I was captured and captivated from page one all the way until the end.

This is book three in the Paradise Island set. A marine biologist by the name of Isabelle travels to Paradise Island, not for fun, but to study the turtles that live in the waters surrounding Paradise Island. Upon arriving she has a near death miss and is rescued by Dax. He introduces himself as a wreck diver, but after spending time with him Isabelle realizes he is so much more than a diver. He might even be so much more than human.
I knew this story was going to be different than the other two Paradise Island stories, but the fact that it involved a not so human male counterpart did nothing to change the flow that Paradise Island has. And by flow I’m talking about its record for hooking up couples. The language of the story wasn’t confusing, seeing as how it dealt with an underwater race, but some of the names that popped up put a smile on my face because I remembered them. The pace of the story wasn’t rushed and it wasn’t prolonged. The sex scenes were as always when dealing with J.Burton: HOT HOT HOT!

Savage Storm is a creative tale that is a refreshing change in erotic fiction. Whereas Indian romances are the norm in popular formats, we have not seen many in the steamy side of romantica. The addition of an African woman is even nicer. The combination is hot and the sex scenes sizzle.
Only the repetitive use of the words ‘cunt’ and ‘cock’ to describe body parts made the hot sex between Alika and Tahola seem tainted. A wider variety of words would have helped in keeping with the feeling of the growing love and romance along with making the sex a bit less vulgar.

Jaime refuses to believe that she’s been destined to meet and be with a man whose beliefs she doesn’t share, but when her life is threatened and Chad is the only one who can come to her rescue, she’s forced to consider that there may be more to this magic thing than she’d like to admit.
THE TALISMAN has a wonderful premise. It’s full of magic, Wiccan beliefs, and old fashioned romantic charm. Unfortunately, there is no real tension between the characters. Both Jamie and Chad lacked depth, and as such, they failed to evoke any real interest. The story line also lacked the sort of action I’ve come to expect from paranormal romances. More concerned with introspection and the power of conflicting beliefs, the story centers around the way sparks fly (literally) when Jamie and Chad are in each other’s presence.
A late introduction of an evil witch manages to give rise to a bit of conflict, but that particular premise is wrapped up rapidly, and without much of a challenge. THE TALISMAN is a worthwhile read for those interested in exploring Wiccan beliefs and rituals, but it falls short of providing a truly satisfying paranormal tale.

As Kayla drove through the snow, there was nothing in sight and the storm got worse. Kayla could not see very far and felt it would be best to find some where to stop. As Kayla went along, the car started to make funny noises, Kayla patted the dash and told the car to please hang on. As Kayla climbed up the hill the car got worse, so she looked for a place to stop. That was when Kayla saw the light at the top of the hill, so that is where she headed. As Kayla arrived at the log cabin her car died, so she walked the rest of the way to the cabin. Kayla knocked at the door and waited for someone to answer it. As the door opened Kayla was unable to breathe, there before here was a man so handsome that she forgot the cold.
Tempting Fate was so intense of a love story that this reviewer was unable to put it down. You will be held spellbound by the plot and the hero is to die for. This reviewer gives this book a Five Flames for a love story that is a classic in itself.

Lora Leigh set the bar extremely high with Tempting the Beast, the first book in her Breeds series. This book has a mesmerizing story line and intimate scenes so hot they could melt the polar ice caps. Ms. Leigh introduces us to her deliciously dominate feline breed. They growl and purr with equal ferocity and move across the pages with the sensuous grace of the big cats that are part of their DNA.
The reader can no more help being irresistibly drawn to Callan, with his lion DNA, than can newspaper reporter Merinus. She is drawn to him as she has not been to any other man. On one of their meetings Callan unknowingly marks her, which begins a chemical change in her that keeps her always aroused for him and only able to bear his touch and no other. Their relationship is not to be a smooth one. Callan escaped his creators, but they are constantly attempting to recapture him and put him in a cage. Together, Merinus and Callan, must find a way to neutralize those that seek to cage him and come to grip with the feelings and desires they ignite in each other.
I loved this book. The plot was fast paced, imaginative, sexy and in a few places heart breaking. I eagerly await each new Breed tale that Lora Leigh releases. This book will be available in print very soon, so I will be buying it in that format as well.

UNCAGED is a haunting tale. The story is told entirely from Gwyneth’s viewpoint. The heroine remains strong despite the sadness that fills her life. Even though you never get inside Damian’s head, Gwyneth’s feelings towards him and their conversations give the reader a good picture of the mysterious, reclusive hero. The ending is both beautiful and heartbreaking—make sure you have plenty of tissues handy when reading this novella.

Lusty characters and erotic customs add searing heat to the story. The sexual tension between secondary characters Roarke and Solara gives the promise of another sizzling story in the future. This is an awesome start to another great series from the talented Ms. Burton.

Wulfgar was going to have his revenge against the man who had dishonored his wife. Wulfgars wife had killed herself after his enemy had had his way with her. Wulfgar had found out that the Norman was expecting his betrothed to come to him. So Wulfgar followed the travelers until he could steal his enemies betrothed and then he would have his revenge, he would dishonor her and then return her to his enemy. But as they traveled to get away from Wulfgar’s enemy, he came to care for the young women that he had stolen. Wulfgar did not know if he could trust the young women. Was she anything like his enemy so full of deceit and cunning that you dare not turn your back for fear of a knife in the back? Wulfgar was uncertain of his feelings for the young women, she was his captive after all and was no one to him or was she?
This reviewer found this book a treasure to review and would love to read much more of Ms. McBride’s work. The plot was very engrossing and held you throughout this enchanting tale .As the story unfolds you just have to root for the Wulfgar’s and Alinor’s story to come to a happy ending. The love scenes are full of heat and will have you holding your breath.
