The writing is sweet and, at times, emotional. The loves scenes are gentle, with the feelings of two people who know each other’s minds and bodies. Ms. Jewell writes an emotional love story that tugs at your emotions.

This is a very intriguing story. Quite a few interesting surprises pop up throughout the story. It has several colorful characters. However, Merritt is a little disappointing. While exploring her need to submit, Merritt puts herself into some dangerous sexual situations. For instance, she takes two aggressive strangers to her hotel room. Since she is an intelligent woman, this just doesn’t seem realistic.
The sex scenes in this book are graphic and fairly extreme. Canes and whips are used quite frequently. There is a little bit of romance, but it’s very brief. Readers who like a hard-edged story of dominance and submission will enjoy this one.

Lacey is a mix of strong, sassy, and sweet. Her reckless spirit leads to some interesting adventures. Slade is a cool, laid-back, hunky cowboy. Need I say more? Well, I will add one more thing. His strong desire to be loved will melt your heart.
While this is a very sensual story, it doesn't contain the explicit sex scenes normally seen in the books reviewed here. It's a good choice for someone who likes old Western movies. I highly recommend it.

I have to admit that I found this story a little disappointing at first. The writing was a bit awkward at times, and it didn’t flow as smoothly as it had in Ms. Ranson’s previous books, but this did improve as the story progressed. Once again, she captivated me with her setting descriptions. She really has a knack for creating beautiful, vivid images for the reader.
Blaze was a strong heroine from the start, and I liked how she became stronger and more determined with each setback she suffered. Raven was strong and seemed somewhat dangerous, but he had a compassionate, gentler side as well. Their lovemaking was very sensual and passionate.
This was an enjoyable read. I hope Ms. Ranson plans on writing another pirate tale in the future.

Full of passion and tension, the CATTLEMAN is a bittersweet love story, with slightly flawed characters that make themselves appealing to the reader. If you enjoy a western themed story with characters that are endearing in their “realness”, this is the one for you.

Charlotte prevails upon Cooper to help her to win James over. Cooper is only too willing to help. Of course, he has an ulterior motive – his own desire and passion for Charlotte. Thanks to Cooper’s excellent teaching, Charlotte begins to realize her beauty and allure. She also learns to be stronger about not letting people take advantage of her at work.
Where will this lead? Will Charlotte leave Cooper when James finally notices her? Of course, as a reader, I’m rooting for her *not* to do so. But, you, the reader, will have to see where things end up for Charlotte and Cooper.
While THE CINDERELLA CURSE is filled with plenty of sensual scenes, and Charlotte did grow as a character, I found myself worrying for Cooper. Kudos to Ms. Knight. She wrote the story and the characters well, because I became emotionally involved with the characters. Especially Cooper, as he was really putting his heart on the line.
Another intriguing factor to THE CINDERALLA CURSE is the loose comparison to the childhood fairy tale. We have the evil stepsisters in the roles of Charlotte’s managers. James portrays Prince Charming. But, we the reader *want* Cooper to be Prince Charming. Will Charlotte?
For a wonderful read and a book that explores sexual tension, intense sex scenes and strong character growth, be sure to pick up a copy of this book.

Harley and his fellow wrestlers are the epitome of the masculine, sexy, mountains of men that one would envision when thinking of professional wrestlers. Yet they have an emotional, romantic side. This lends them a very charming, down to earth side. The island theme joined with them being taken hostage by the escaped convicts keeps the reader interested and curious what will happen next. The storyline continues changing as the plot thickens; it is never boring and will always keep the reader guessing what will happen next. The romances between the various couples are always changing and the emotions are shifting, encouraging the reader to find out who will end up together and how it will all work out for each character. The love scenes are steamy and sensual, yet the couples are exclusive. DARK PARADISE is a very interesting read with many aspects to enjoy.

The development of the characters of Jesslyn and Aiden, the chemistry between the two of them, and their interactions with secondary characters captures and holds your interest in such a way that you do not want to put this book down until you have finished it. The identity of the murderer and the clues provided as to his identity will keep you guessing to the very end. I didn’t figure out the murderer’s identity until it was revealed to me by the author. The readers will find themselves actually chuckling during times, feeling sad at other times, and talking to the characters as if they could hear you at still other times. The love scenes are sizzling and romantic. Recommended for fans of romantic suspense and for those that want a little something extra thrown in for good measure. If you want to know what that something extra is, you will have to read the book for yourself. However, I will provide you with the following clue: Look for the scenes involving dreams and you will find your answer!

The challenge scene is suspenseful and incredibly erotic. It proves that Simone is definitely a very strong woman. The ending is satisfying, but leaves you hungry for more. This one is highly recommended.

This is an excellent story. The author does a great job of creating an interesting and believable world. This sizzling story doesn't have a traditional happy ending, but the ending is very satisfying nonetheless. Though all these stories take place in different times and places, they are all linked by the magical dagger that appears when needed, gives its keeper visions in the red hilt-jewel and disappears when its job is done. The stories are also linked by the fact that they are all hot, sensual and very enjoyable.

Two, it’s a quickie making their scenes hot, hot and of course sensual making this reviewer bringing out the extinguisher to wash out heat from reading this book. Last, that this speaks of love growing stronger each day and the way these two never lost that love. Ms. McCray has a way with words that pulls you in the story like a magnet never letting the story falter.
The only sad thing is that it was too short. Other than that, it is another hit for McCray and a fantastic quickie to read. Warning though: make sure you have a fan to take out the heat from this book.

When Lisa arrives, her host for the evening greets her. A very tall, totally red hunk, complete with horns and wearing nothing but a loincloth, welcomes her to a night of hot steamy sex she'll never forget.
After the night is over Lisa talks to her friend Cathy and finds out she did “set her up”. It turns out that Pluto is really a fireman named Devlin. So Lisa heads to the fire station to meet him again.
This is a wonderful story about two people who wind up so right for each other, that I found myself glad that Cathy stepped in and set them up. Revisit your favorite characters in the sequel to Intergalactic Bad Boys. While this story does not contain as many laugh-out-loud moments as its prequel, it is still a wonderfully entertaining way to spend a few hours. Hauk and Cole have a sexual tension that is electrifying and a love of arguing that is guaranteed to make you smile. As you read this book, you will notice it has a feel of the early Star Wars films that endears it even more to those of us old enough to remember. With Characters like Hahn Sylo and his co-pilot Fuzzy, how can you not love this book? Action, humor, and not to mention the squirm-worthy hot sex, make this a must read. If you have not yet read the first one, Intergalactic Pain In The Ass does stand alone, but it is much more fun when you have enjoyed them both!

This is a delightful little novella. It is a rather light foray into the dominant/submissive scene. Peter is a gentle, loving teacher that introduces an innocent Samantha to the world of dominance while showing her the art of love, as well. Throw in a good dose of steamy love scenes, Alpha males and persistent women and you have the formula for Jaid Black’s success.

The world she created sparked my interest and I wouldn’t mind going back for say a sequel.

The relationship that they share overcomes all boundaries regarding age and race, it is truly unconditional. It was a refreshing read that packed quite a punch in the steam department.

The ending is a cliff-hanger and has me eagerly awaiting the next book in this series. It’s a great book that shouldn’t be missed.

Shell and Cade are two very different people who ultimately only want the same thing, to be loved for who they truly are. They are a great joy to share a journey with.
Be ready to experience new love and friendship with hot and spicy interactions with these characters in THE NERD PRINCE by Ellen Fisher. It is a charming and heart-warming tale that leaves one smiling.

The only thing I didn’t agree with about NOCTURNIQUE is the genre it is listed under. The book is listed as an erotic horror tale, but I found that this wasn’t really the case. I feel horror might have been a wrong genre to list it under.
NOCTURNIQUE is a compelling and wonderful tale. Readers can appreciate this short story by an author whose writing talents keep us coming back for more!

If you have a thing for bikers and werewolves this is your kind of story. I love werewolves, but not so much bikers but after this story I’m thinking about trying my luck. This story was definitely a page turner (or better yet a finger scroller). Sara and Zack’s chemistry crackled and sparked. I also like how the author incorporated Sara’s friends into the mix. Sara wasn’t the only one getting her groove on with the sexy bikers that entered town.

Libby and Michael Mucahy are on an assignment to nail the Brazilian cartel. Their assignment: pretend to be a married couple working on their relationship. It might actually work in their favor that they barely get along; after all, they are trying to revive a failing relationship. It’s quite ironic considering that their relationship has been a failure since they met. However, for this assignment, they have to be able to at least be civil to each other, so it might help if they could utter a few words every now and then. What seems even crazier given their relationship, or lack thereof, is that once they’re alone, an attraction sparks between them. They don’t even like each other, so why is it so hard for them to stay in the same room without jumping each other’s bones?
Libby can’t believe it that her mentor and boss has forced them together for this assignment. She can’t stand Michael, yet she can’t seem to stop her body from reacting to his touch or his nearness. How on earth is she supposed to handle staying in the same room with him? She will just ignore how he makes her feel; she is much too serious about her career to jeopardize it by getting involved with him. The only thing is, the longer they are alone together, the harder it is to stay focused on how incompatible they really are, especially when it seems like they would be so right together.
Michael is having a really hard time focusing on his job with Libby under his nose all the time. He is already fighting an intense sexual attraction to her, but he knows that will fade once he gets her out of his system. His goal is to take her to bed and get over this irritating lust. Easier said than done. He knows though, if she would just give in, he could show her how compatible they would be, at least until their assignment is over, then they would be able to move on. What he doesn’t take into consideration, is that he might not want to move on, he might want to take things one step further.
I have never read a book that is full of such sexual frustration. I was practically screaming at them to “just do it already”. They are so perfect together, yet their stubbornness and rigidity keeps them apart. Michael is the most innately sensual and sexual male character that I’ve ever encountered. He is one hundred percent male and that makes him ruggedly appealing. Ms. Dubois does a beautiful job linking together two characters that are drawn together in spite of themselves. The characters are well developed and the plot gets deeper as the pages turn. PERFECTLY INCOMPATIBLE is a great example of opposites attracting and interacting. I fell in love with Michael from the first chapter and loved reading on as he fell for Libby. Likewise, I loved being privy to Libby succumbing to Michael and his charms and emanating masculinity.

What’s a girl to do when your job interferes with your love life? Shannon is in the process of trying to counsel a young, unmarried teen mother. The problem is that the girl’s father wants her to get married. Shannon intercedes, but doesn’t plan on becoming attracted to her charge’s father, Adam Hayden. For the sake of her charge [and her job], she decides to ignore it. Things take a turn for the worse (or better) when it becomes obvious that Adam feels the same.
Marilyn Lee is the queen of interracial love stories. Her characters are always so realistic and remind me of certain people in my own life. That is one of the things that make Marilyn Lee’s books such hot reads. That and the 6.5 on the Richter scale love scenes. I could not believe the two main characters actually got down and dirty outside by the pool. Exhibition, but in moderation, at its finest. I was definitely intrigued and interested with the character Adam and his apparent “blackness.” I was a little confused until I read further and discovered that he was biracial. I wanted to see Shannon and the daughter’s relationship evolve from counselor/counselee to a genuine friendship. Otherwise, it jumped off the page with its hotness. Good job Marilyn!

That’s definitely not what’s running through Elizabeth Coyote’s mind when she marches into the saloon with the intent to get rid of her bridegroom. To get rid of that one, she chooses another, and he is none other than the famous gunslinger Asa MacIntyre. This marriage isn’t what she expects from the jump start. Asa actually expects her to enjoy the marriage bed!
Anyone who knows me knows that historical romances are not my favorite genre, but something about the story jumped out at me. I’m glad I read it because I enjoyed the characters. Usually, I’m all for women and the male protagonists get a backseat, but in this story Asa was my man. I loved his character! He was so patient and so sexy in his patience. (Is a sexy, PATIENT man an oxymoron?) Throw in a good dose of mystery and this story deserves to be in the top pile of your TBR list.

My favorite of this anthology would go in the order of Top Rope, Spellbound, and Risking All. I loved the idea of a love match within the world of wrestling. The idea and the story itself made me laugh. I almost short-circuited my laptop with drool when I read it and imagined Valkon as the Rock.
In Spellbound, I loved the idea of modern Wiccan tradition versus ancient. The male protagonist was sexy in a Cole from Charmed sort of way.

SHADES OF SEDUCTION, VOLUME 2 is a collection of nine intensely passionate short stories. Each of these stories has a plot that focuses on the beauty of sexual pleasure and fulfillment. They all take place in contemporary settings and feature strong women who know what they want.
My favorite story from this collection is “Fantastical Lovers.” In it, Ceara, a woman who had been emotionally battered by a selfish ex-lover, finds pleasure and confidence in a stranger’s arms. Can they share more than a one-night stand? I enjoyed this one because of its wonderful character development and satisfying ending.
Another exceptionally good story is “Lonely War.” In this one, a lonely woman longs for her lover to return from his tour of duty. She joyfully opens her arms when he appears before her, but is he real? This is simply a beautiful, heart-wrenching tale.
Ms. Hess has a unique and pleasing writing style. Her titillating stories are all very original. However, they might not be a good choice for some readers. They are very explicit, featuring sizzling sex with little or no romance involved. If, however, you enjoy an arousing, quick read, give this erotic collection a try.

She's been working hard to be transferred to the Commandos and someone has taken notice of that hard work. When TAMIA is offered a job with The Commandos, she thinks she's finally going to get her dream job. Then she receives an official letter from the Military Department of Justice stating that she will be indicted for murder if she doesn't accept an undercover assignment on the War Department's behalf, one that will require her to spy on the Commandos and the man she's been infatuated with since he'd saved her life during the Rio Bantos conflict. If she doesn't agree to the assignment, she faces the possibility of deportation and more likely death.
Richard (Rick) Carinson, left the military shortly after saving Tamia's life to form a pseudo military branch of his own called the Commandos. The Commandos unit has been formed without any direct government chain of command, a very elite, covert group, and very outside proper military channels. Together with Tamia, and the rest of the Commandos, Rick must find a mole hidden within the National Security Network who is responsible for multiple munitions shipments disappearing and who could be getting ready to start a major war.
Tamia is a well-written story, which takes place many years in the future. The characters are believable and the attraction between Tamia and Rick leads you to wonder if they'll ever loosen up, allowing their attraction to each other to develop into something more. You find yourself empathizing with the predicament Tamia is in and the decisions Rick has to make as the leader of the Commandos. By the end of this book, you will find yourself hoping that the author, Esther Mitchell, has plans to write more installments set in the world of the Commandos. Personally, this reviewer hopes a story's in the works for Watchdog and Cat. Tamia is definitly a good read!

I thought the idea of the story was so cute. I love Cinderella and this story, especially because of the names, had such cute characters that you wanted them to live happily ever after. And they did. It was an adult version of Cinderella that I think everyone would like.

I love were-people and the fact that for once the main shapeshifter was not a male grabbed my attention immediately. Taja is such a strong woman and she held her power well. I had hoped she wouldn’t be the quintessential ruler, power-drunk, but I loved the way the author handled her personality. She had fire, spunk, guts and sensuality. I loved the characters and the plot didn’t come way out of left field; the recipe for a perfect story.

It sounded too unbelievable. Maybe he ate greens, but not just pure seafood. The characters were realistic though and I love how she opened the story for a sequel including Jane's best friend.

At first, I was wary of the fact that the protagonist was supposed to be involved with a set of twins. I'm not too fond of ménage a trios, but as the story unfolded, I changed my mind. Of course, I'm always on the woman's side, but twice I caught myself wishing she would just give into temptation. Lucian and Devlin are such carefully thought out names, I get the Devil connotations.

WILD & UNRULY is a thoroughly enjoyable read. The way Lillian loses her inhibitions is really fun and entertaining. Ms. Johnson makes this transformation very believable. Jake is a dreamy hero. He’s always the perfect gentleman. Ms. Johnson has created a very sensual, titillating story that doesn’t contain the coarse language normally seen in a book this hot. Don’t miss this fast-paced, sexy novella.
